Measurement & Verification: at the Core of Energy Performance Contracting

The energy performance contracting (EPC) business model, implemented by energy services companies (ESCO), has long been identified as a method to deliver the large-scale implementation of energy efficiency (EE) projects. Establishing the performance of energy efficiency projects may be challenging. Hence the need to rely on measurement and verification (M&V) activities. This webinar will discuss how the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) plays a key role since 1996 in helping ESCOs demonstrating that energy savings will be sufficient to meet project costs.
