Jacobo Llerena

Jacobo Llerena holds a Master’s degree in Law and an MSc in Energy Law. Since 2007, I have been a senior official for the Spanish Government Administration.

Jacobo is currently the Deputy Director General for Energy Efficiency at the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge in Spain. Additionally, he is a member of the Directive Board of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE). He haa previously held various responsibilities in the energy sector, including Senior Advisor at the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Energy and member of the Directive Board of the Spanish Corporation for Strategic Reserves of Petroleum Products (CORES). His professional experience spans both the public and private sectors.
