Onur Ünlü graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Yıldız Technical University and earned a master’s in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (UK).
He began his career as an Industrial Systems Sales Engineer at Universal Makine ve Isı Sanayi Tic. A.Ş. and co-founded ESCON in 2004, where he serves as CEO. ESCON is Türkiye’s first and only global ESCO, providing energy efficiency services, energy performance contracts, and power purchase agreements. He has completed over 1000 energy audits and 42 Energy Performance Contracts, working with institutions like the World Bank, EBRD, and UNIDO.
A Certified Energy Manager, Auditor, and PCF Professional, he has published hundreds of articles and holds leadership roles, including President of EYODER, Vice President of TURKONFED, and member of TOBB, AEE, ASHRAE, ÇEDBİK, ENSIA, TTMD, and MMO.
