- Advocacy and advice for the development, management, enforcement of and compliance with appropriate standards, codes of practice, regulations and policies that promote energy efficiency in the country.
- Development and maintenance of National and International partnerships and collaborative arrangements that support effective implementation of the EEAU strategic plan.
- Provision of a system for knowledge management & dissemination of available energy-efficient technologies and new developments.
- Strengthening human resources and improvement of the organizational, operational and conceptual capacities of its members for improved service delivery.
We are delighted to be part of this network to further our objective of building capacity for energy companies to become fully-fledged ESCOs and ultimately realize their potential, said Elvis Ssekate the EEAU President.
We believe that ESCOs are tools that make energy efficiency potential tangible consequently resulting in a significant reduction in energy consumption, deployment of energy-efficient technologies and other benefits, Ssekate added.
EEAU is the official chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers in Uganda.
