Mr. Pillay is an accomplished thought leader in the energy sector, serving as an external examiner for MSc Engineering students at local and international universities and presenting technical papers in the USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. He represented South Africa at the BRICS conference in Russia, focusing on green economy initiatives. A former President of the ESCo Association of Southern Africa (EASA) and former Vice President of the Southern African Energy Efficiency Confederation (SAEEC), he is deeply committed to advancing energy efficiency and sustainability.
