In May 2024, the Global ESCO Network published the third edition of its “Regulatory Barriers for Energy Service Companies“. It is based on interviews with 25 ESCO associations, mapping barriers in regulation that either directly targeted ESCOs or accidentally came in their way. It also discusses ‘barriers in the absence of regulation’. The Global ESCO Network would like to thank the associations that made the publication possible and look forward to expanding the analysis through further collaboration with ESCO associations and other stakeholders in the global ESCO market.
