Last week EMCA, the National Energy Service Companies Association in the People’s Republic of China, joined the Network. EMCA has promoted ESCOs for two decades throughout the remarkable growth of the Chinese ESCO market. EMCA provides training, technical assistance, and consulting to ESCOs, and has a vast membership base and extensive international collaboration. This week the German ESCO association, the EDLHUB under DENEFF, equally joined the Network, bringing the total number of Global ESCO Network partners to 34. EDLHUB was founded in November 2019 by the German Energy Efficiency Initiative and gathers the German pioneering companies in the energy service industry. It serves as an innovation hub for decarbonization solutions through ESCOs and provides policy advocacy for the development of the national ESCO market by designing suitable framework conditions for ESCOs.

We welcome both ESCO associations into the Global ESCO Network and look forward to working with you!
